My name is Alice, Iām 20 and I currently am a student in Amsterdam (Earth sciences) and would love to take care of a pet whilst studying. My childhood cat has now passed away for nearly a year now and I still miss her dearly, but I see her in every cat I meet so I would love to have that kind of presence around my apartment (2 floors, quite comfy, I have 3 roommates). I always saw myself as a dog person because of how energetic and fun they are, I love hiking and long nature walks, but I am equally a cat person Iāve realised. Hopefully, I will be able to take care of yours!
I owned a stray cat since I was 3 until I was 19, she lived a long life and was my best friend growing up. I miss her dearly, she was very calm and would lay on my lap whilst I read. Her name was Papillon (butterfly in french, I am French/British, grew up in Brussels).

Summary.
I live with 3 other roommates that study at the same university as I do, so someone is always home. We are very homebodied and like to stay in for a movie or painting night, so the presence of a pet is always welcome. In first year, we did live with a Pomeranian for a whole year and would relay each other for pee breaks and nature walks. We live a five minute walk away from Flevo park which is quite big and has lovely woodland paths.
